Depends on what you want to be. Diamonds have more value than poop. They also take longer to produce. My dog poops every day, and quite a lot of volume, but the quality is not the same as if I found one diamond in my yard in a year.

Just putting a little perspective on this. There is a quality threshold one must reach if they want to be published in most publications that pay. I know that this does not apply to Medium since you can publish anything you want and as much as you want.
