Is Antifa the New KKK?

We’re living in a world turned on its head…

How strange this world is getting. In the Sixties students protested FOR free speech. Today, they protest AGAINST free speech.

In our inglorious earlier years, violent white men behaved atrociously — lynchings, cross-burnings — while concealing their identities beneath pointy-headed hoods. They were called cowards.

Today, Antifa activists dress in black, conceal their identities to intimidate, vandalize and assault people and police. Smashing windows and cars, they terrorize people the way Hitler’s Brownshirts moved outside the law in 1920s Germany.

According to a report in The Oregonian last year, masked Antifa activists assaulted a man at a demonstration to take his American flag, calling it a “fascist symbol.”

Yesterday they inserted themselves into a legal Portland protest (Alt-right protesters and anti-protesters) sending people to the hospital and assaulting police as well as the First Amendment.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

To be frank, I really didn’t grasp what Antifa* stood for when I first heard the term. It certainly doesn’t represent what the Founding Fathers had in mind as they envisioned the American Experiment.
