Very cool. When I wrote my novel The Red Scorpion, there is a journal that the hero finds in the abandoned (haunted) house. I wrote the middle part of the story (which was actually 40 years previous) as if it were Dr. Comstock’s first person journal entries. It proved a good exercise but did not work for the story. I then re-wrote it in a different manner and finally wrote it a third time in omnipresence third person… and placed this as the opening section of the book. It was a good experience… You learn something from each angle.
I do like the Little Pigs exercise… Little Red Riding Hood could be the sequel.
