When I started writing here on Medium it felt like a gigantic party where it’s all writers and readers. If you have ever been to a party where you didn’t fit, you know how isolating that is. You come to this community and everyone seems plugged in to something important to them in that manner which we all share. It’s a learning experience, though… initially you make your way around the room… (or many rooms) and one day you discover that you can give more than one clap! It was an Aha moment.
